> Schedule TikTok posts from Blackbox: choose who can see it, comments and any commercial label, then post now or pick a time, alongside Instagram.

## Short answer

To schedule TikTok posts with Blackbox (blackbox.plus), connect your TikTok account, open a ready post from the Library tab in Studio, go to step 3, Post, and tick the TikTok account, with Instagram too if you like. A TikTok panel opens. Under Who can see this, pick Everyone, Friends, Followers or Only me; nothing is chosen for you, and until TikTok audits the Blackbox app only Only me is available. Leave Allow comments on or switch it off. If the post promotes a brand, product or service, tick commercial content and choose Your brand or Branded content, which adds TikTok's label. The panel shows the title, taken from the caption's first line without hashtags and up to 90 characters, and the description. Then click Publish, or Schedule for a time between 2 minutes and 180 days ahead. Pictures go as a photo post and a video as a video. TikTok does not let apps delete posts.

## Before you start

- **A post ready in Studio.** Pictures or a video, with a caption. See Make an Instagram carousel with AI or Upload your own photos or video and post them.
- **TikTok connected.** Connected to the brand the post files under. See Connect your TikTok account to Blackbox.

## How to schedule TikTok posts in Blackbox

1. **Pick your TikTok account.** Open the post, go to step 3, Post, and tick your TikTok account in the Organic card — with your Instagram account too if you want both. A TikTok panel opens for the account, marked Needs a choice.
2. **Choose who can see it.** Under Who can see this (required), pick Everyone, Friends, Followers or Only me. Nothing is picked for you. Until TikTok audits the Blackbox app, only Only me is available, and the panel says so.
3. **Comments.** Allow comments is on by default; switch it off if you want. If comments are off for the whole account, it is locked off here too.
4. **Mark commercial content.** If the post promotes a brand, product or service, tick that box and choose Your brand (TikTok labels it "Promotional content") or Branded content, a paid partnership with another brand (labelled "Paid partnership"), or both.
5. **Check how TikTok will show it.** The panel shows the title — your caption’s first line without hashtags, up to 90 characters — and the description, the whole caption up to 4,000. If either is too long, it shows where TikTok cuts it.
6. **Publish or schedule.** Click Publish to post now, or Schedule to pick a date and time between 2 minutes and 180 days ahead. By posting you agree to TikTok’s Music Usage Confirmation, as the panel notes.

## Good to know

- Until TikTok audits the Blackbox app, TikTok only lets it post as Only me — private to the account. This is TikTok’s rule for apps it has not reviewed yet.
- Pictures go to TikTok as a photo post; a video goes as a video. TikTok sets a maximum video length for each account.
- Branded content cannot be posted as Only me.
- TikTok does not let apps delete posts. Delete one in the TikTok app; the post page links to TikTok’s instructions.

## Questions people ask

**Why can my TikTok post only be Only me?**

TikTok restricts apps it has not audited yet to private posts. Until it audits Blackbox, posts go out as Only me and the other choices are not offered. You can change who can see a post afterwards in the TikTok app.

**Can I post a carousel to TikTok?**

Yes. The slides go out as a TikTok photo post, in the same order. Tick both accounts to send the same carousel to Instagram and TikTok in one go.

**My video was refused as too long**

TikTok sets the longest video each account can post, and the message says what it is for yours. Trim the video and upload it again.

**What does commercial content change?**

It adds TikTok’s label to the post — "Promotional content" for your own business, "Paid partnership" for branded content — which TikTok asks for when a post promotes something.

**Can I delete a TikTok post from Blackbox?**

No. TikTok does not let apps delete posts. Use Open it on TikTok on the post and delete it there.
