Connect your TikTok account to Blackbox
Track followers, views and engagement on the videos you post, and publish from Blackbox when you want to. One login covers one account.
Before you start
The account's own login
You sign in as the TikTok account itself. One grant covers one account, so repeat this for each account you want reported on.
Public videos
TikTok only shares videos that are public. Drafts and anything set to Only me stay invisible to Blackbox and will not appear in reporting.
Nothing to pick afterwards
There is no account picker at the end. TikTok asks for permission once and the connection is the account you signed in as.
Step by step
- 01
Open Data in Blackbox
Sign in to Blackbox and click Data in the left menu, then Connect a channel at the top right.

- 02
Pick TikTok
Open the Provider dropdown and choose TikTok — the organic option, not TikTok Ads, which is the separate advertising connection. Then click Connect.
- 03
Log in with TikTok
A TikTok window opens. Sign in as the account you want connected. You can use the QR code, a phone number or email, or one of the linked logins TikTok offers.
- 04
Approve everything on the list
TikTok lists what Blackbox is asking for: your profile, your engagement statistics, your public videos, and permission to post. Leave every toggle on. If you turn one off, Blackbox records the connection as partial and the matching part of your reporting stays empty.
- 05
That's it
You are returned to Blackbox and the account appears under Connected channels. Your recent videos and their counters load within a few minutes.
Blackbox can read
- Your profile — display name, avatar, bio and verified status
- Your follower, following, likes and video counts
- Your public videos and their lifetime views, likes, comments and shares
Blackbox will not
- Post to TikTok unless you press Publish on a specific post in Blackbox
- Delete anything — TikTok gives no way to remove a post through its API, so Blackbox cannot
- See private videos, drafts, your inbox or anything set to Only me
If something doesn't work
- Why is there no reach or impressions figure?
- TikTok's public API gives lifetime totals per video — views, likes, comments, shares — and no reach, impressions or saves. Blackbox shows what it is given and leaves the rest blank rather than guessing.
- Why do my numbers only move from the day I connected?
- Every counter TikTok returns is a lifetime total with no history behind it, so day-to-day movement can only be measured from the first sync onwards. The trend fills in as the days pass.
- Can Blackbox post for me?
- Only when you choose to. Content is drafted in Blackbox, you pick TikTok as a destination, and nothing is sent until you press Publish now or schedule it for a time you set.
- I connected the wrong account
- Disconnect it on the Data page, then connect again and sign in as the right account. TikTok keeps you signed in, so use Switch account on its login screen if it goes straight through.
- How do I disconnect later?
- Open Data in Blackbox, find the connector and choose Disconnect. Blackbox hands the access back to TikTok at the same time, so it disappears from your connected apps there too. Your existing reports stay.
