Connect your TikTok account to Blackbox

To connect a TikTok account to Blackbox (blackbox.plus), you sign in as the TikTok account itself; one login covers one account, so repeat it for each account you want. In Blackbox, open Data, click Connect a channel and choose the TikTok tile under Social & search — not TikTok Ads, which is the separate advertising connection — then Continue to TikTok. Sign in, and approve everything TikTok lists: your profile, engagement statistics, public videos and permission to post. Turning a toggle off leaves that part of your reporting empty. There is no account picker afterwards; the account appears under Social & search and its recent videos load within a few minutes. Blackbox reads your profile, follower and video counts, and your public videos with their lifetime views, likes, comments and shares. It cannot see private videos, drafts or anything set to Only me, cannot delete posts, and only posts when you press Publish on a specific post.

  • The account's own login — You sign in as the TikTok account itself. One login covers one account, so repeat this for each one.
  • Public videos — TikTok only shares public videos. Drafts and anything set to Only me won’t appear in reporting.

How to connect your TikTok account to Blackbox

  1. Step 1:Open Data

    In Blackbox, click Data in the left menu.

    You'll see: Your channels, with Connect a channel at the top right.

  2. Step 2:Pick the TikTok tile

    Click Connect a channel, then the TikTok tile under Social & search. Not TikTok Ads, which is a separate connection.

    You'll see: What you need and what happens next, with Continue to TikTok below.

  3. Step 3:Sign in as the account

    Click Continue to TikTok and sign in as the TikTok account you want connected.

    You'll see: TikTok’s list of what Blackbox is asking for.

  4. Step 4:Approve everything on the list

    Leave every toggle on and approve.

    You'll see: You’re back on Data, with the account under Social & search.

Blackbox can read

  • Your profile — display name, avatar, bio and verified status
  • Your follower, following, likes and video counts
  • Your public videos and their lifetime views, likes, comments and shares

Blackbox will not

  • Post to TikTok unless you press Publish on a specific post in Blackbox
  • Delete anything — TikTok gives no way to remove a post through its API, so Blackbox cannot
  • See private videos, drafts, your inbox or anything set to Only me

Good to know

  • There is no account picker afterwards: the connection is the account you signed in as.
  • You can sign in with the QR code, a phone number or email, or a linked login.
  • Recent videos and their counts load within a few minutes.

If something doesn't work

There is no reach or impressions figure

TikTok's public API gives lifetime totals per video — views, likes, comments, shares — and no reach, impressions or saves. Blackbox shows what it is given and leaves the rest blank rather than guessing.

My numbers only move from the day I connected

Every counter TikTok returns is a lifetime total with no history, so day-to-day movement starts at the first sync. The trend fills in as the days pass.

I don’t want Blackbox posting to TikTok on its own

It won’t. A post only goes to TikTok when you pick your TikTok account on it and press Publish or Schedule.

I connected the wrong TikTok account

Disconnect it on the Data page, then connect again as the right account. If TikTok signs you straight in, use Switch account on its login screen.

I want to disconnect it

On the Data page, open the ⋯ menu on the channel's row and choose Disconnect. Blackbox hands the access back to TikTok at the same time. Your posts and follower history stay, and new numbers pick up again when you reconnect.
