Use an AI marketing assistant that knows your numbers

Blackbox (blackbox.plus) has an AI marketing assistant for your small business that answers from your own numbers: it reads your connected ad and social accounts, your strategy and your Inbox cards before it replies. Open your brand in the Inbox and click Ask about, next to its name, or Ask about this on any card to talk about that card. Type a question or tap a suggestion such as What should I do first?. Each answer shows what it read, then the answer, often with a small report you can open in full. On a budget card it can compare budgets and offer Set budget to an amount, which you press yourself; on a draft strategy it can suggest a change you add with one click. It never changes anything on its own: when it points at a next step, the button takes you to the card or screen, and you press the button there. Everyone on your team sees the same conversation for each brand.

How to use an AI marketing assistant that knows your numbers in Blackbox

  1. Step 1:Open the chat

    Open your brand in the Inbox and click Ask about, next to its name at the top.

    You'll see: A panel on the right, with questions to start from such as What should I do first?

  2. Step 2:Ask a question

    Type a question, or tap a suggestion and send it.

    You'll see: What it read, its answer, and a small report with Open full report.

  3. Step 3:Ask about one card

    Click Ask about this on a card in the Inbox.

    You'll see: The same chat, now about that card, with All and This card at the top.

  4. Step 4:Compare budgets

    On a budget card, ask it what a different daily budget would do, or to propose one.

    You'll see: Keep, Suggested and Bolder budgets, and a Set budget to button.

  5. Step 5:Set it, or keep it

    Click Set budget to and the amount, or Keep and today’s amount.

    You'll see: Applied, with Undo beside it, or a note that nothing was sent to Meta.

  6. Step 6:Follow its next step

    When an answer ends in a button, click it.

    You'll see: The card or screen it means, with the button to press and nothing changed yet.

  7. Step 7:Add a change to your strategy

    While your strategy is a draft, tell it what is missing. Then click the button on its Suggested change.

    You'll see: Added. Your next version will use it.

Good to know

  • It reads before it answers: the lines above each answer say which reports or cards it looked at.
  • It never changes anything by itself. Approving, setting a budget or posting is always a button you press.
  • Each brand has one conversation, and everyone on your team sees it. Opening it from a card adds that card’s turns to the same thread; This card shows only those.
  • Tapping a suggestion fills in the question; nothing is sent until you press send.
  • It answers in the language you write in.
  • It doesn’t write post captions. Ask for ideas instead, then make them in Studio — see Get Instagram post ideas from your own website.

If something doesn't work

It says there is nothing for me to read

No ad or social account is connected to this brand yet. Click Connect an account under the answer, then ask again.

It told me to do something but nothing happened

The chat never acts for you. Its button opens the card or screen; press the button there to make the change.

The budget box says No estimate

Ask it what that budget would do first. It reads the campaign’s last 28 days and gives a range in its answer.

It says The assistant is busy right now

Too many questions are being answered at once. Wait a moment and send it again; nothing was saved from the failed try.

I don’t see Add to my changes

Suggested changes are only offered while your strategy is a draft, in the chat opened from Ask about next to the brand’s name.
